These Terms govern your use of WeBetter, operated by Swim Wealth Inc. (dba WeBetter). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.
You must be 18 or older to use WeBetter.
WeBetter is a personal finance, wellness, and social platform that gives you personalized insights, plans, reports, and tools based on information you provide and accounts you choose to connect, and lets you connect with people in circles and communities. WeBetter does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or medical advice, and nothing in the service — including AI-generated content — is a recommendation to take any specific action. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Some features generate content using artificial intelligence (including third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy). AI output is educational and for reflection only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not professional advice. Do not rely on it for financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or mental-health decisions; use your own judgment or consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency services.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You may disconnect linked accounts or permanently delete your account and data at any time in Settings. Your subscription is managed, and cancelled, in your Apple Account settings.
Some information in WeBetter comes from third parties and remains theirs. Packaged-food data is from Open Food Facts, used under the Open Database License (ODbL). Place suggestions come from Yelp and are marked as such, with a link to the listing. News headlines and summaries belong to the publishers named on each card, and link out to the original story. Exercise reference data is from the open-licensed Free Exercise DB. WeBetter does not claim ownership of any of it.
If you connect a financial account (via Plaid) or a wellness app (such as Apple Health, or another service we support), you authorize WeBetter to access the information described in our Privacy Policy. We request read-only access and do not move money.
You may create and share content — circle and community posts, messages, invitations, names, and other material ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant WeBetter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the service and to show it to the people and groups you share it with. You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights to share it.
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You will not post or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, involves minors, is spam or fraudulent, infringes others' rights, impersonates others, or otherwise violates the Guidelines. When you invite someone who isn't yet a WeBetter user, you represent that you have a genuine relationship with them and a reasonable basis to invite them.
WeBetter has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report any post or user and block any user at any time in the app, from the … on a post. We review every report and act within 24 hours: content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines is removed, and the account that posted it may be warned, suspended, or terminated. Serious or repeated violations result in permanent loss of access. We also act on unlawful content as required by law.
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on WeBetter infringes your copyright, send a notice to hey@webetter.app (subject: "DMCA") including: identification of the work; the specific content and where it appears; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We respond as required by the DMCA, including removing infringing content and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.
WeBetter Membership is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full app: your plans, your reports, insights, and your circles. There is one plan:
New members are offered a 7-day free trial. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region; the exact price and period are always shown to you before you confirm.
How billing works on iOS. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price of the plan you chose. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. If you start a free trial and then purchase a subscription, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple rather than to us. Except where required by law, amounts already charged for a started period are non-refundable.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy apply to every membership.
Don't misuse the service, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, scrape or reverse-engineer it, interfere with its operation or security, or violate the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
The service and all content — including AI-generated content and other users' User Content — are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. WeBetter is not responsible for User Content or the conduct of other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeBetter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may suspend or end the service or your access if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You may stop using WeBetter or delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
